Dutch as described by Wikipedia ''is a West Germanic language spoken by around 24 million people as a first language and 5 million people as a second language, constituting the majority of people in the Netherlands and Blegium.''

Dutch is spoken in:
  • The Netherlands
  • Belgium
  • Suriname
  • other places like Aruba and Sint-Maarten by small fractions of the population

Ah yes... West Frisian... The main aim of this site is to find language resources for languages like West Frisian; languages with rather limited resources which could vanish in the future. As such, learners of these obscure languages face difficulties when it comes to finding new learning material. Frisian as described by Wikipedia ''is a West Germanic language spoken mostly in the province of Friesland (Fryslân) in the north of the Netherlands, mostly by those of Frisian ancestry.''
